He taught CMHR405 not MHR600... anyway, He's a terrible marker, it's December 21st and our marks are not on D2L. He tampers with exams which will effect your mark, makes them more confusing. His lectures are boring but hes very laid back and only cares for participation. Lastly, he is a nice guy so ill give him that.
Amazing professor! Clear guidelines for all individual/group projects and midterm/final. There are participation marks - but quite easy to receive! If you put in the work you will receive a great grade.
I took MHR 650 and MHR 623 with him. We only had a midterm, group project and final. The final is not cumulative and his exams are directly from his slides. The midterm was harder than the final. Although his lectures are a little bit boring he is a great teacher, there is no attendance but he has weekly assignments and participation marks.
This is the best professor I've ever had, he deserves a raise. If this wasn't an 8am class I guarantee more people would enjoy the class. Participation and weekly group assignments are easy and straightforward. If you study decently, you'll do well on the tests, which are straight from the slides - there are no surprise questions on the test.
You do have to show up if you want to get participation marks, but it's super easy to do; the test content is from the slides and weekly group assignments that take less than 10 minutes to do. You do have to show up to complete the work, but it is worth it, and he wants everyone to do well in the course.
Tests are created exclusively from his slides so you don't have to do the readings. He also marks really easy. The downside is that it was a boring class and part of your grade included participation so you had to come to classes.
