He was kind and approachable, but he was also imposing as an educator. The feedback on his assignment was very useful. I did not get good marks the first time, but I got satisfactory marks in all my other assignments according to his feedback. If you hesitate for more than a second when choosing his course is disrespectful to him.

Personally, I actually got practical feedback, and when he doesn't give feedback, it's up to your design decision. I liked that he has a passion for teaching and often sends emails to remind us, which I found out not a lot of professors do. I liked that he tried to listen to my ideas and support them when I brought work in every week.

Alan is a kind person; however, I have him for studio class, and proper feedback is required to help us stay on the right path. Unfortunately, I receive no feedback from him. He claims that we don't need his advice, but then he grades us with bad or average marks. It feels like it's impossible to succeed in his class.
