Hari Pokhrel

Found him rude and difficult to understand. Often could not make out the words he was saying. He did not respond to my emails because I wrote from my personal Gmail. When I started writing from my TMU account he did not reply on first message and had to be messaged twice for a response, which was brief. Dropped the course.

This is a hard course, but this prof is amazing. Hands down probably the best in the program, he allowed extension for assignments when it was necessary. Study and you'll do well. Strongly recommend, great guy.

Tough course but amazing professor! Assignments are challenging, but Dr. Pokhrel is patient with answering questions. Grading is fair with constructive feedback. He skillfully breaks down complex material during class. You can tell he cares and wants you to succeed. Attend lectures, review material daily, start assignments early, and ask questions!

I think Professor Hari is a very good professor because he won't let you fail the course as long as you go to class and sign in, and the questions on the exam are all based on the assignments and homework. As long as you do your homework carefully and review them before the test you will get a good grade.

Do your homework. Come to lectures and pay attention. And you will do just fine in this course. Doing homework is mandatory to getting good grade. Nevertheless one of the best profs at Ryerson imo

Best professor for statistics type content I have had

Best prof i've ever had. super nice and helpful. Exams were exactly as described in class and as in the exam review (most profs make their exams incredibly difficult) Hari is straight forward and clear and tells us exactly what we must prepare for to succeed in the course. I acc love Hari best prof ever. 11/10 recommend

Hands down, one of best profs, a lot of assignments and tests but he will help you whenever you need. Also, fastest always to reply emails at any time.

Amazing professor, he truly wants you to understand the contents and always available to help outside of lectures. All you have to do is attend lectures and read his notes and you should get a really good mark!

Very caring and passionate profs. As long as you do the homework, you will always get full marks, even if you get some questions wrong.
