She's nice and knowledgable. Ngl I feel like people are just mad the course is dense, and exam heavy but I mean what do you expect- its a 4th year dietetic course. She answered questions and made the slides so that you had minimal readings to do. Exams were tricky (not bc of her but the content itself) but fair. If you studied you can def do good.
The professor is excellent—clear, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in student success. Concepts are explained in a practical, easy-to-understand way, and questions are always welcomed and answered thoughtfully.
Wants to see you succeed and will support you. Very easy to talk to, truly cares. Coming to class is necessary as the course itself is quite practical. Guides you on how to meet and exceed her expectations for assignments and tests in class.
I enjoyed having Julia as a prof, she gives thorough feedback which helped me to think more critically about the class and improve my writing skills, and she's easily accessible outside of class. When I recently reached out about grad school recommendation letters, she was thoughtful and supportive throughout the process!! Overall, a great prof!
Although it's content heavy, Julia makes it fun and easy to learn. She always leaves opportunities for questions throughout the lecture. Julia is also very patient and caring of her students' wellbeing.
While the course content is heavy, Julia made it enjoyable and provided thorough explanations in class. Her teaching style really shows she values student learning and growth.
Julia helped me become a better student overall. Although the content is heavy, she makes it simple and leaves time for questions or clarification after each difficult concepts to ensure everyone understands. She did lots of practice and case studies, which was very helpful in further understanding how to connect topics to real life situations.
One of my favourite courses taken so far in my undergrad! Julia is an exceptional instructor who provides honest feedback and most importantly guides us in the right direction to improve our skills. She is inspiring, fair, and knowledgeable in her work and gives practical examples of scenarios she experienced in her practice. Lots to learn from her
self directed course with prerecorded videos so you rarely interact with her. however she was able to answer any questions I have through emails and hosted zoom drop in for the assignment which was helpful. very easy course.
