thought her style can come across as a bit intense but I still enjoyed her class.
Dr. Al-Hamad is brilliant and a joy to learn from. She gives thoughtful feedback and does not make you feel small for misunderstanding or asking a question. She has a lot of research experience, which she shares in her lectures (in a helpful and relevant, never boasting way), and is very creative in her approach to both research and teaching.
If you are sick one day and have a medical note she will try and take marks off. Be careful. She has no remorse for students. Escalate any issues you have and fight for your rights with this prof.
The best professor I had in this program so far. She turns (what some describe as) boring content - into interesting lectures. She genuinely cares for her students, speaks in a therapeutic manner, and will emphasize exactly what she is looking for in assignments - to ensure your success.
BEST PROFESSOR IN THE TMU NURSING PROGRAM! If you have the chance to switch to her class, I highly recommend it. She is highly intelligent and passionate, always willing to help students.
Having Areej as a professor is an absolute privilege. Her energy is infectious, making learning an enjoyable experience. If you have the chance to learn from her, you'll quickly understand why she's so beloved by her students. I would jump at the chance to take her class again!
Areej is a truly exceptional professor. Her clear explanations, supported by examples and visuals, make learning effortless. She promptly responds to every email and ensures everyone grasps the material before moving forward. Her genuine care shines through as she memorizes each student's name and checks in on their well-being.
Amazing prof, if you have her for nursing, you're in good hands!!
Dr. Al-Hamad is very kind and tries to make lectures interesting. I found that she is quite fair when it comes to grading and is easy to get a hold of by email. When approaching her with questions about the course, I found that she would be a little passive-aggressive with her response, but overall was a good professor.
