I was nervous to take this course but it ended up being one of my favourite courses of all time. Lectures were interesting, and the midterms are fair and based on lecture content. You don't even have to do the readings as they're optional. Showing up to the lectures, filling in the slides, and spending time to review will get you at least an A.
Slideshow lectures with blanks for you to fill in. Easy tests and sometimes ends class early.
Really genuine professor. Midterms and exams are a bit challenging but straight from the slides, so if you study and memorize that you should be fine. Assignments are super straightforward and interesting to do, very easy mark booster. Slides are fill in the blanks but you can easily find the answers with the textbook.
Slides were enough to study for this class, just elaborate on points mentioned in the slides to understand them better. You technically don't have to attend, use the textbook to fill in blanks. Prof is very fair with marking, and gave great rubrics to use. Overall, had a great semester and would highly recommend this prof!
Good lectures, but always used the full 3 hours. Gave 10-minute breaks every hour, though. The course was 3 exams and 2 assignments. The textbook is not mandatory as long as you attend class and pay attention. Notes are fill-in-the-blank, so attendance is mandatory to get the notes. Exams were not super hard.
Awesome professor, she rarely assigns homework for this class and has a very organized lecture structure. Showing up to lectures and taking notes will guarantee a good grade, and she always answers all the questions.
attending her psy 215 lectures felt like watching a movie, the content was interesting and she explains everything very well. i wish other psych professors taught like her.
it's impossible to get a good grade with this professor no matter how hard you study. her courses are always interesting, but they will surely drag your gpa down. i had her last semester and i should've known not to choose her again.
Overall, great professor! The only problem I have is that she doesn't post full slides - they would be fill-in-the-blank, so you have to attend lectures and write notes. She also talks fast; you might miss some necessary notes. Highly recommend having one buddy to share notes. Her tests are also super easy, max 3h studying if you attend lectures.
not bad, fill in the blank slides so attendance is needed. if you study the slides and go to class you'll be fine. it was honestly just okay, assignments are pretty easy too (just lock in)
