Moriah Sokolowski

This rating is actually for Child Development PSY302. Dr. Sokolowski is a kind, great teacher! She gives real life examples and ensures her students understand the lecture material. She also gives an in-class assignment in order to prep and better understand what we need to do for our essay assignment. I would love to have her again!

The sweetest ever. She's always smiling! Easy to get a good mark if you attend lectures and participate. She's also very accessible outside of class, will always respond thoroughly to questions in person and via email, so you don't need to worry about not understanding a concept–she will explain it to you. She wants her students to do well.

SO sweet and kind. Very understanding and easy tests all multiple choice.

Dr. Sokolowski is truly one of the kindest profs i've had. she is fair and cooperative! She truly makes class feel so fun!

Dr. Sokolowski is very kind and deeply cares about the content she teaches. She is always ready to answer questions and clarify when needed! That being said, this course is meant to be difficult. Doing well requires that you dedicate time outside of class to study and review the material, or you'll be behind.

Biopsych is certainly a content heavy and difficult course, however, Dr. Sokolowski makes it much more bearable. She is kind and welcoming, approachable for questions, and overall a wonderful professor who allowed me to get a good grade in a class I was quite nervous to take!!

I was nervous about biopsy, but she was amazing!! so caring, passionate! Having a genuine prof takes the pressure and anxiety off, and there were SOOO many resources for help! Nervous for biopsy? just take it with Moriah!! Very fair marker! It's obviously going to be content-heavy because is biopsy, but you'll be fine, trust!!

She's a cutie patootie who loves what she teaches and tries to relate to real life events as much as she can. Amazing lectures but very heavy so you need to come to class. If accommodations are needed she's always willing to provide it and takes every question students have. 10/10 would take again!

This course requires a lot of your time and isn't easy at all! With that being said, Dr. Sokolowski did an amazing job teaching the course. Her lectures are detailed, she does a great job explaining the material, and she's super sweet. Her TA, Julia, was also incredibly helpful throughout the course. I highly recommend her class!
