Omar Fares

Took Bus352 at Laurier with professor Fares. Amazing lectures and really enjoyable class. He gives a lot of detailed feedback and is very helpful when it comes to career and professional advice. The final exam was a bit hard.

Omar is actually the best prof at TMU. He really cares about his students, goes above and beyond for us to help outside the classroom. Whether it is about career advice, resume proof reading or any real life advice you need, he is ready to help. Classes are very interesting and relatable to real life, gave out 2 easy assignment, ensures you pass.

Omar is a great prof for MKT702!! No surprises for the exams, fair marker, and is the best choice for the course as he makes sure you learn a lot!!

Omar is a great prof, he gives you many opportunities to do well in the course. Though the Google ads assignment can be confusing he will help you manage it throughout the course, just hope you get a good group. Tests were easy, his content was engaging enough to attend lectures but not mandatory. Highly recommend him if you get a chance.

Omar is one of the best professors I have had in my time at TMU. He cares a lot about his students and genuinely wants everyone to succeed. I try to take any class that he is the professor!

He's a nice guy and wants to help his students. Although I did attend his lectures online, and reviewed all of the course material (videos). I think it wasn't enough. He doesn't do lectures he only reviews the material so you are expected to do your own work and come to class prepared.

Honestly, he is a nice guy and a pretty solid professor even though he just reviews whatever you read in the readings. Only thing that sets him back are his evaluations. His midterms/exams aren't anything like the homework but, they still weren't too hard. I'll for sure take another course with him but, he really needs to improve his evaulations...

Attendance was not mandatory, but there are quizzes every other class that are up for 5 minutes on d2l and are at a random time during class. The midterm was poorly written and very hard. I studied a lot, did the readings each week, took notes and didn't do great. I recommend this class, but not with this professor.
