Doesn't care about her students, wants no emails .
This is for PLE505..... Yemi is horrible. She not once marked or gave feedback on half the assignments. We were expected to write papers with absolutely no guidence and when asked, she just yapped about how we arent doing things properly instead of actually helping and addressing issues. Will forever avoid any elective taught by her.
All around excellent professor. Yemi teaches in a way that's very easy to understand. She gave detailed tutorials on the fundamentals of a pro forma, from the reasoning for inputs and what metrics meant down to the specific formulas in Excel. The assignments were very representative of content taught and grading was reasonable. Highly recommend.
I had Dr. Adejiji last year for PLG100 and she was good but a little monotone. This semester in stats, she really seems like she's in her element. She's been very kind to the class in giving us opportunities to boost our grades and seems like she cares about her students.
She's not necessarily a bad prof but she is quite passive aggressive if you ask a question over email and her slides are very boring and hard to engage with. Also she should stick to her theory classes like Plg100, she's not very good at lecturing a math course like stats.
Seemed like a great professor to me, very clear teaching and you are able to get it pretty quickly. Had to teach myself some things mainly because I have the attention span of a goldfish but she was extremely accommodating. Class average for the second test was in the 50s but she let us retake the test. I would take her again (but not statistics)
Dr. A is a pretty good prof, although her lectures are a bit much and boring, you did not need to attend to get an A+ in this course. Just focus on submitting everything and you will find this class as simple.
Yemi is an okay prof the class is easy, don't need to attend but I find when someone talks to her about a topic related to the course she goes off of that instead of what is being presented. Great fieldtrip in this course but definitely do not need to attend to do well the slides have a good amount of information
Unengaging contact. Polite prof, but she just reads the slides, doesn't solve questions in-depth. Review her slideshows, do your cheat sheets, Khan Academy is your friend. Showing up to class doesn't matter. Textbook is online, don't buy it. Marks are split up fairly across labs/tests. She tells test-details in-class instead of over email, be wary.
