Professor Golam is a caring, energetic, and knows to motivate students. He promotes critical thinking in class and I loved the workshops and games.
Although hard to get a hold of, Golam is a very sweet and accommodating professor. His lectures broaden the horizons in terms of creative understanding; however, they can sometimes come across as dry to students. He is very caring and speaks to students outside of class; he does his best to look after his students in spite of his busy classes.
Chill professor! Easy class, makes readings simple for you. He is also quite helpful to students who face personal problems. Wants you to both understand the readings and get good grades. He teaches most of the big 200/300 student lectures, so it's a pretty hard job, and he does it well. The games with readings are fun.
Great Prof! Reading materials are embedded within games. Bring lots of outside materials relevant to the class topics. Engages students. You'll love the blooket games that discuss reading materials.
Does his best to try and engage people during lectures, but misses the mark. Doesn't seem to want to discuss ideas or concepts beyond what he decides is valuable. Weekly lecture ideas border on too simple. Wouldn't take his course if it wasn't mandatory.
Far and away the most boring professor at TMU. Classes were lacking in any form of substance, with many being taken up by a children's game of Kahoot. None of the material was insightful, intriguing, or had any relevance to the assignments in any way. Avoid if possible, for your own sake.
I have been in several of his courses (CRI 100, CRI 760, CRI 800), and he is phenomenal. Years of experience and brings true multiculturalism in learning. Well structured, even his out of the course references are planned. In CRI 800, he prepares you for the job market. Attend all his classes.
Great Prof! He has a solid plan throughout lecture combining real world things with lecture materials. Bring good examples from Asian industries. Looks after you to keep the course stress-free. Unlike large classes, here he is more attentive to you. Attendance has only 10% and pretty flexible. Attend all his classes though, to appreciate fully.
Had him for other classes and didn't like him, but 800 was good. Very easy final class, nice prof, very accommodating. Easy work n easy marking, a good end to undergrad. I admit I didn't learn much. His teaching style is excruciating, but at this point, all I wanted was an easy A. Use ur discretion w that info. 2 essay, 2 group pres & weekly disc.
One of the best profs in CRI 100, he is an outgoing person and explains everything very slowly with different types of information. It makes you very easy to understand! I would highly recommend to take his course
