Great teacher that really helped break down difficult concepts into understandable chunks. He graded harder over time to adjust based on how your writing improves. He doesn't bring personal biases into grading and will give you a good grade if your points are clear and well thought out. Would definitely take another class
Great prof, super accommodating, colourful character, fun lectures. If you engage with the course and the prof you will definitely be rewarded. While some of the readings he assigned were somewhat obscure and hard to get into (if you don't have a knack for religious perspectives or continental philosophy), his lectures clarified things greatly.
Professor Luzecky teaches in a really interesting way and he's hilarious. He's not a tough marker; just submit your assignments with some decent argument and you'll be good. He uses textbooks which are required so make sure you buy or rent them. I would take a class with him again.
Hands down, the best teacher that I have ever learned from. He is not just a teacher, he is a storyteller. He will also be your friend and he is literally the definition of how a professor should be. Mans absolute gold. You will actually want to attend class.
This prof was amazing! Hands down one of the best profs I have ever had. His lectures were very interesting and funny. He's extremely understanding and caring. Never have I ever had so much fun in uni class. The material could be very boring at times but his way of teaching made things a lot easier and interesting to understand.
Very interesting lectures, however, had to drop this course because of his demeanor. He was incredibly condescending when answering questions. He might encourage questions but beware of his attitude when you actually decide to ask something. Overall the course was cool but being disrespected is not why I'm there. Would recommend avoiding it.
Never went to class but managed to get a decent grade. He posts lecture notes which help a lot in understanding difficult philosophical texts. He is pretty accommodating so if you needed an extension, he would probably accommodate you. The content is quite difficult but the course does not require you to have a complete grasp of every reading.
Very funny prof. His lectures were engaging even on days when I hadn't kept up with the readings. He was also very easy on us and did not hesitate to give us extensions when we needed them.
NOT a bird course! Class consists of him discussing that weeks reading, for these lectures he uploads his notes which are usually pretty clear and understandable. Marked on 4 short critical responses to readings worth 10% each, and one 7-10page paper worth 60%. Nice guy, understanding and never boring, can be hard to reach by email in my experience
