The course is not difficult but needs work.
The course is not difficult but involves work.
The class is not difficult by any means, I feel like most students just don't study enough or use problem solving skills. The way she explains course material can be pretty confusing, and I probably wouldn't have done as well if I didn't already take data management in high school. Ask questions and review concepts, looking at slides is not enough.
Her lectures are pretty dry and I don't feel like she critically approaches planning theory at all, just regurgitates content from the readings. Marking is easy but inconsistent, especially from the mandatory discussions that are used for attendance marks. The outline for the final essay was unclear but when asked would say “look at the syllabus.”
There are weekly assignments due on the same day as the class. This can be annoying but they are easy to do well on and make it easy to at least pass the class. I sometimes felt lectures were dull and a bit boring. But overall, she is a good prof who is understanding and helpful.
The lectures were very long and very dry, and gave really short and frankly unhelpful feedback on assignments. The mandatory weekly assignments didn't contribute to any overall learning and her assignment weights were all over the place.
Course is heavy on memorization. Doesn't really elaborate in class but attendance is mandatory otherwise you'll get 50% deducted from the weekly TAKE HOME assignments. Each class we engage with EA legislation but doesn't feel like im actually learning anything. Sometimes comes off as condescending.
Her lectures were always interesting and engaging.
The lectures are simple and explains well but many class activities
Overall nice person and professor. Her lecture slides themselves are quite simple to follow, however the way she explains and teaches them in classes leaves me and most of my class mates confused. She is kind of all over the place when she is explaining of concept and has a slight accent which doesn't help. Overall tho she wants students to succeed
