Caitlin Andrews-Lee

POLI 130 AT UNC - Prof is supportive, accessible, and caring. She makes boring material entertaining, and although it's mostly lectures, slides are posted and she makes class fun. Consists of a semester-long project (not too difficult), 2 short papers, 2 exams, and the final is a group evaluation and presentation of others' semester-long project.

She is a phenomenal professor. She cares for her students and makes learning interesting. I would take her class again definitely.

it's a stats class and not something i enjoy learning about but she really tried to make things more fun and more engaging - i admire the effort because the content was a tough one. also, participation is being marked so make sure you know that ! she was a pretty good prof n the R coding assignments were marked generously.

Second class with Andrews-lee and she is one of my fav POG profs. She made the 3-hour 8:00am lecture something I looked forward to. She is very passionate about Latin American politics and she made it fun to learn about. Keep up with the readings and lectures and you'll be fine. Not a hard marker, discussion responses + midterm/ final are not hard.

Professor Andrews-Lee is a great professor who was kind and clear in what she asked of us. She is also a very interesting lecturer so it made going to class at 8 am much easier. This class was reading heavy however, so I'd recommend taking this class with some people that you know so you can share notes with each other to lessen the burden.

Dr. Andrews-Lee is without a doubt one of the best professors at TMU. She cares about her students and their wellbeing, it is clear that above all she wants you to do well and learn something. Her assignments build on one another and her in-depth feedback is extremely helpful. I would highly recommend taking one of her courses.

Can be a tough grader, but she is the best professor in the department regardless. She's super knowledgable on everything Contemporary Politics so if you like that, take everything with her!

Absolute 10/10 would recommend again. Prof. Andrews-lee consistently makes sure that everyone in the class is able to follow along through often challenging material. She is there to make sure you learn, not just tick the teaching box for the semester. Would recommend every class.

She's a very understanding prof. Cares about her students. Even though this was a statistics class (which scared me) she made the material actually easy to learn. she is a very good teacher. She always responds to emails about the course and assignments and is very genuine. Honestly overall amazing prof that really cares about what she's teaching.
