The prof is very cool and caring! He is also very understanding and lenient with deadlines. However, be aware that the TA who marks for this class is a tough grader. They gave a lot of people 60s on the first assignment. The TA's feedback was also a bit confusing and vague. The prof itself is an easy marker compared to the TA.
quite a kind and easygoing prof, very clear grading criteria but is quite hard to reach outside of class.
Great professor! He knows what he's talking about. He encourages people to come to class, but it is not mandatory. Overall, relatively easy course if you go to the lectures.
Professor Rana is the best. He is very caring, and his teaching style is very engaging. He explain every concept and makes the topics seem easy. Participation in lectures was not mandatory, but TAs took attendance in tutorials.
Salman Rana is amazing. Take his course if you can.
Genuinely one of the best professors at TMU. Highly recommend taking a class with him!
literally the best prof or teacher i've had in my 15 years of education. he cares about his students so much and he is extremely smart and well spoken. Salman actually changed the trajectory and enjoyment of my schooling career so shoutout to him because he's so awesome. *CRI680 not 200
I LOVE THIS GUY!! Super sweet, understanding, knowledgeable and fun! Don't hesitate to take his class cuz it's so worth it.
Had him for CRI200 and CRI820. If you can take a class with him you 100% should. He genuinely cares about his students. He is also very easy going and understanding. Genuinely enjoyed going to every lectures for both classes.
This was an 8 am class but he started it at 9 am which is already amazing. He's really caring and takes into account the knowledge of his students (regarding law). He made copyright law seem less daunting and more accessible. Not to mention, my TA Laine was great. The exam was very silly and surface level which was refreshing
