Paria Shirani

There was a textbook but was able to get by by just studying the lectures. Mostly reads from a well done slide show and recorded lectures. The material can be tough to connect with sometimes so be sure to review each lesson, or go back to previous lessons to fully understand. (or else the pacing can feel quick)

Prof. Shirani is one of the best professors that I had, even though she is new. She is very thorough and takes the time to go over every single question in/outside class!

Prof Shirani was an overall great professor to have. Her lectures, although long, were clear and easy to follow along. She was always looking for any questions people might have and spent time on specific topics if many people struggled. She does go a little slow a times, but if you pay attention during lectures you should be fine.

I really enjoyed Dr. Shirani's class. At the beginning of the class she did go through course material a bit slow which was mildly disadvantageous for the lab, but pacing improved after and she was very thorough when she taught. Her lecture slides were sufficiently detailed and easy to follow. For a new professor, absolutely fantastic!
