Andy is an amazing lecturer, he explains the concepts very well and is super knowledgeable. Also never feel afraid to go and ask him questions he is very kind and caring. All the tests for this class were pretty easy if u study off his slides and attend lecture.
Andy stands out because he doesn't just follow a syllabus, he creates a safe space to grow. His caring nature ensures everyone feels supported. He goes above & beyond to help u take charge, stay organized, & reach your full potential as a future nurse. His teaching is so thorough and easy to grasp, idk why pple give him low ratings? hes acc amazing
This man is an icon. He delivers clear and cohesive lectures, making sure every student understands, encourages asking questions and clarification, and tries to convey the lecture materials in a simple manner. The bad reviews are just haters. We love andy.
i love this man DOWN. literally the best lecturer ive had at tmu so far. his lectures are very fun and engaging. his teaching actually makes student wants to come to class. idk why his ratings are low but he is amazing.
feel teacher is not very experienced compared to other PPN course provided and content is not very organized just read the PPT and also he did not reply on your email. Office hour by appointment by you probably do not get a reply
His lectures are amazing. I don't know how he can keep it entertaining for the whole 3 hours but he does it so well. He gives real life examples that are useful to nursing students. But there is a lotttt of readings. His slides help though, and with the lectures he makes the material more understandable. So i suggest attending his lectures
Andy cares a lot about the nsing prof. and shares a deep interest in directing students to sources that can help deepen their knowledge. Hes critical in marking but its cause he cares and his stories of shifts/school makes class VERY interesting. Lectures are informative but not needed to do well. He is a harder marker in comparison to other profs.
Mok is very fair & seems to genuinely care about teaching. He is prompt & makes lectures interactive, including real-life scenarios that make theoretical concepts more digestible without overdoing it. I don't love the PPN content, & the group project was awful, but that's not his fault. Overall, Andy is receptive, extremely kind, & good at his job.
Andy mom is a regular professor, his lectures are mostly just him talking off the slides and occasionally going more in depth. In these he gives hints for the questions on the tests and exams. PPN101 is typically a harder course, but the group project I found he marks quite easily, wouldn't take him again if I had other options
Don't let what others say get in ur head about Andy, I did that as it's my first year and I was surprised at how diff he was, for PPN atleast! He explains concepts from slides very easily and thoroughly and really relieved my stress. Hes always open to answering questions and never has an ill face when you don't know! Don't be scared you got this:)
