The professor is lazy at teaching material, the grading is very strict which is the result of his TA which is pretty ignorant and nit picks on small details. The class has a big group project in which the grades were lowered from the original grade as a result of "stricter grading to other classes" do not take this class it is not worth it.(Itm550)
I am literally considering grad school in HCI because of him. His lectures are always interesting, and he's pretty chill about almost everything. The course needs you to work in order to get good feedback from his critique session. The TA was, however, pretty ignorant. I don't think he's teaching anymore though.
Uses discord to connect with students. What bothered me was how he came late to class on the day of group presentations. Keep in mind that we had presentations online through Gather Town. He also formed a "bubble" that was supposed to block outsiders from hearing what was said, at least that's what he thought, and spoke negatively about groups.
He's definitely one of the coolest professors I had. I like how he keeps in touch with students on social media like Discord group chat for the course. His class was fun to take and I hope he teaches more courses in the Ryerson Computer Science program.
He's pretty passionate about the topic when you bring him up. He knows his stuff, but the course requires a lot of work because it's a project-based course. assignments are easy and group works are also easy if you have a good mates
He's amazing prof, wish him to teach all other CS courses
