She would tell you what she wanted from each question. If you were unsure if you were on the right track you could just ask her and she would tell and guide you to where you needed to go. She tries to make learning fun and enjoyable. There was 5 quizzes. 10 multiple choice questions. 4 assignments. Final exam was open book. Great prof !

Super nice prof, gotta use the textbook though since her lectures were practically useless. None of the quizzes were based on her lectures but on the assigned readings. You can pass if you do the readings and the labs were relatively easy. Despite all that, I would take her again

Professor Ariano was great and I loved her this semester. Her in-person lectures were very fun and she provided the option to be online or in-person with narrated slides and face-to-face talking (Zoom). She taught this course with the students in mind. The content was mediocrely hard but I learned a lot since she is passionate about geography!
