Dr. Kam is amazing, It's clear he's passionate about economics, which helped keep me interested. The course was graded by tests and online quizzes, but they were easy if you study and come to lecture. He's approachable and understanding. Overall an outstanding professor. I highly recommend.
kam is most definitely the man! the course was great. online lectures, never more than a couple hours. he gave us 150 multiple choice questions for practice and then used half of them to make the final exam. shocking the average wasn't way higher than 61%. either way, fun course, great professor, great experience. would take every time.
The best professor I've ever had at TMU. He genuinely wants students to succeed and takes every step to ensure that goal. Definitely have to work for the A in this class, but it is attainable. He's sweet, caring, and funny. Just study the slides for exams and you'll do great. Love him. Don't pass up this opportunity.
He is the only professor who is able to teach this class with 2000 students well. He is very supportive of all his students, and his lectures are interesting with activities to help you understand concepts in unique ways. Tests are the same as the homework. Otherwise, go to class, take notes, and the class will fun and informative.
Dr. K. is an amazing prof. He gives great feedback to students and is a generous marker! Remote learning is tough but he did an amazing job facilitating discussion. He's always up to laugh in class! Definitely not a bird course but you will learn valuable things in his class and leave smarter.
Just an excellent well rounded instructor. Gives out great notes, lectures are short and fun.
Best professor I have ever had, I learned so much with him and I wish all courses were taught with the method he teaches.
I love him. He is one of the best professors in the department.

Lectures lack focus and are filled with too many personal stories about his family, making it hard to stay engaged with the actual material. The grading is the biggest issue: our final exam average was below 50%, yet he refused to curve or offer any adjustments. While he's a nice person, his teaching is scattered and his grading is rigid.
