Matt Jones

Had him for THF405 and thought he was great! Clearly cares a lot about his students, and always makes an effort to teach material in an interesting way. That being said, the TA for his course was evil.

Matt Jones is an amazing prof! He clearly cares a lot about his students, and he makes his lectures really engaging, easy to understand, and nice to look at.

I loved Matt's class. His lectures and class discussions are fun and engaging. He is a bit of a tough grader, but if you participate in class and speak to him during breaks about what he wants for assignments, you will do very well. He learned all his student's names, and I truly felt like he wanted us all to succeed. Take this class!

Matt was an extremely kind, engaging and accommodating professor. It seemed as though he really cares about the success of each and every student and his lectures are very interesting. Would definitely recommend if you get the chance to be in his class!

One of the most respectful, kind and interesting lecturers here. He is clearly passionate about comics and did his best to cover a wide array of genres throughout the course. Weekly lectures were fascinating, worth going to if you can! Clearly values student input in class. No tests, fair assignments, easy to approach and accommodating. Great prof!

Professor Matt Jones is really caring and he has amazing slides. He usually gives many realistic examples so we can understand the lectures. My class was online and asynchronous so we had an online meeting for discussions and they are usually pretty fun. The course is pretty interesting. Really like it.
