Skot is good, but a lazy prof. Don't expect him to do anything besides grade your assignments. His lectures so tend to ramble, but at least the content is interesting. He is a much tougher grader than you would expect, but he's also kinda 'anti-assignments' so they aren't worth much. he loves attendance and participation! please chat, he loves it
He's okay, he tends to ramble during class which can make it a bit unengaging if you arent completely interested in the subject also his class didnt have any notes on the slideshows you have to download the powerpoint and find the notes inside the actual file using google drive which was annoying.
I took RTA 938 with him, and I genuinely enjoyed his lectures. His authenticity and honesty stood out—he was always upfront about his own challenges and created a space in class for others to share their thoughts. I just wish more students took the opportunity to engage and talk to him.
I think I had Skot for my first year. I'm in my third year now and I still think about this course. I loved it so much, both the content and how he presented it. Skot is so passionate about what he is teaching, it's impossible not to catch it.
tough grader, non-stop talking with limited useful info.
Skot is truly an expert in what he teaches and his passion shows in the great lectures he gives. Prepare to have your mind blown by what he shows in class! He does teach at different schools (I had him at OCAD) so my only negative would be that he didn't devote as much time to our class as I would like.
Wonderful Professor! he cares so much about his students. Always willing to help and provide that support. His material is quite fun and interesting to learn about. I would def recommend this class.
I loved this professor. He isn't full time at RU but if you have the opportunity to have him for a class take it. he's super laid back and funny, cares deeply about his students, and class discussions always flowed super nicely and were always very interesting. Course readings were long but I understood the material by attending lectures.
