I had her for CRM100 last semester at TMU. She gave many readings and videos before each class that were hard to keep up with on top of 4 other courses. Tough marker and somewhat unclear on instructions about the assignments. Nearly failed the midterm. I'd recommend switching if you still can.
I found this class very interesting and the grading was reasonable!
dropped second week, syllabus was extremely difficult to follow.
taken her twice and my experience has been bad both times. Filing a complaint. Switch if you have this prof
harsh grader, class was difficult for no reason, random pop quizzes
Very disorganized class. Most of the class was in prep for the group CELT assignment, which was unclear, vague, and very boring in general. Her lectures consisted of a powerpoint that ran on for the rest of the semester, and 10% based on in-class participation. She is very rude to her students and does not give clear feedback/advice when asked.
Just AVOID this professor. If you are aiming to pass this course then you should know that her aim is to fail you. You can literally feel her rudeness just by reading the class announcements she posts and her voice in-person is a whole another level of hate towards her students.
Her teaching lacked clarity and consistency, and expectations were often unclear. Communication felt unsupportive, which affected the learning experience. Grades were released on the January 5 deadline out of spite.
While the course material itself was interesting, professor Singh made the lectures difficult to engage with, and the assignments were often unclear. The teaching style felt inflexible, which made it harder to enjoy the course overall. I believe I would have had a much better experience with a different prof.
