Luke Russell

A very nice and welcoming professor. He's very engaging and helpful with assignments. Participation is worth quite a bit so I recommend attending. The assignments are a bit tedious but still easy, I recommend taking it with some friends since there's a lot of group work. He's very understanding as well if you miss a class or submit something late.

Only good things to say about Professor Russell. Truly one of the best teachers I've had, even going back to elementary school. Very thoughtful and mindful and often gives extensions and chances if you have things going on. Every lecture was interesting and easy to engage in. Do your self a favor and take this Professor PLEASE.

Forget any stresses you could have he makes accommodation's for every assignment. All due dates were extended, final exam open for 48 hours to make students less stressed, randomly gives free weeks with no assignments because he knows we have other classes going on. Literally the picture perfect professor. Participate in class cuz he da goat

Such an amazing professor. Some people are meant to teach and professor Luke is one of them. Is kind, gives extension on assignmens, and always ready to help if you're struggling with the materials.

The professor made the communication course as painless as possible for students, he tried to engage students and asked for active participation throughout class. Some readings needed each week, quite a reasonable amount of workload throughout the term. Marking was also very reasonable, you will do well if you attend and do your weekly readings.

Amazing Professor. Understood the workload of other courses and gave extensions on some assignments. Final exam was a bit difficult as there was questions not covered by the ELMs, but aside from that, the course was good. He also replies to student emails.

Professor Russell is so understanding and knows you have other courses that might have your focus on more than CMN279. Gives extensions on almost every assignment and is a fair grader if you follow all the instructions. Watch out for the Final Exam because it has content that was not on the ELMs but overall it was manageable and easy.

One of the best profs I've had. He's a really easy marker and gives extensions for almost every assignment. He's very kind and caring and makes an effort to get to know students. Do literally everything you can to get this prof!!!!

best prof ive ever had. Makes cmn labs so interesting and i actually look forward to going to them. Motivates us, keeps us on track, cares about us. Hes one of the few professors to actually care about students . if you have the choice, take him. best prof ever!
