The course was very disorganized and no clear grading criteria which made it difficult to understand how to answer questions. Lots of people did not do well and were not sure how to improve for the final despite doing all the readings.
Avoid at all costs! Outline of topics(which is supposed to be in the course syllabus) posted three days before our 60% final. Difficult to communicate with as the response time frame is 3 to 4 days and sometimes would not even respond. Will not post/discuss exam averages or areas of concern despite majority of the class receiving low marks/failing.
Easily the worst Ryerson Law professor. Unclear grading/study guidelines as well as being incapable of responding to emails in a professional time frame.
Probably the worst professor in the Law and Business Department. Has no clue how to teach and organize a class. Failed almost half the class on the midterm which and it unnecessarily difficult to release marks. Avoid this professor and do yourself a favour.
Len is such a sweet & smart professor, but you will go insane taking his class due to his disorganization (which is hopefully resolved once he teaches in-person again). He is not good with D2L or Zoom, does not let you review your exams (no other prof does this - even online) & is hard to get a hold of. Also assigns 50-100 pg. of reading weekly.
LAW122 was a mandatory course that I was looking forward to taking as I was considering minoring or majoring in it- not anymore. He failed over 90% of the class for the midterm & only did something about it since his email was flooded with complaints. Exam wasn't much better & he doesn't let you see what you did wrong. Avoid him if you can!
His lecture was somewhat interesting, the prof is pretty funny. You're only graded on two exams but honestly, they were somewhat easy. The only thing is he is not technologically proficient so some class time is wasted that way. He responds to emails very fast and professionally. I would take his class again
I do not know how this professor works for in-lecture, but he is a terrible online professor. You will receive marks extremely late OR you will NEVER receive your final exam marks unless you ask for them a month later.. He has no clue how to operate Zoom after so long and overall he's just useless and clueless.
THIS PROF WAS HORRIBLE. He knows what he is talking about, however, he does a horrible job at preparing his students for the tests and exams. 90% of my class failed our midterm, on top of that he would not give us any feedback. Any time you ask him for help not directly on the topic he would say "I have to ask". NO HELP AT ALL.
