Man loves an SDD. Personal values were injected into the course, and his book was the primary reading. I appreciated practical assignments based on real-world outcomes and fair and prompt grading on assignments. The lectures were very dry, and there were primarily one-sided debates. Responsive to email. More multi-faceted perspectives are needed.
While the lectures are dry, the professor effectively creates a critical-thinking environment. Based on past reviews, the professor has adjusted to be more accommodating and has adjusted testing more in line with course expectations. You shouldn't have issues as long as you fulfill the assignment requirements.
Lectures are dry, but interesting material covered. The online exam was disastrous but he ultimate listened to student's frustrations and softened grading.
Horrible. Midterm was poorly structured, to the point where half the class wasn't able to finish, and he was NOT understanding. His lectures are not engaging at all, he rambles during them, making it a waste of time. He will expect you to memorize the whole textbook, and write "short" answer questions for the midterm, without any time.
His condescending vibe and poor-quality lectures was hard enough, but the midterm left the entire class outraged! WAY too much expected in too little of time, "short answer" questions got framed as essay questions, and some so called "grace period" for going over time was never communicated and left a ton of confusion. Horrendous course management!
