Hafeeza Bassirullah

As much as I enjoyed the material for this course, Hafeeza's grading was by far the most unreasonable i have encountered in my 4 years at TMU. She refuses to give full marks, even for discussion posts. If you don't want to hurt your amazing grades and have to argue with a very unclear and difficult professor then skip this course. Drop it even.

I agree with a lot of what has been previously mentioned about this professor. Overall it is just not worth the headache so try and take something else if you can. She is very confusing and not a good communicator. Very hard to complete assignments when they are not clear. Very frustrating overall

She's not very explanatory in the course outline and if you ask for an explanation she will just tell you to re read it instead of answering your question. If you're someone who likes to clarify things good luck.

Don't take this professor, she has harmed students mental wellbeing. She should not be allowed to teach anything related to social health and community building. She has no concept of clear communication, and fails to instruct students effectively.

Do NOT take this course, it'll cause more of a headache than your reg classes. 0/10 prof

Every assignment is at least 20+ pages. If you take this class be prepared to prioritize this class and only this class. Teacher doesn't care that you have other classes or if you're feeling overwhelmed by other classes. Does not allow you to take any extra credit assignments (Even if your final grade is at risk).

I would avoid taking this course. I wanted to take it as part of a certificate, but I will seek another course to replace this one. I am a high GPA student, with strengths in academic writing, and I received an F on my deliverable. I think this professor is out to lunch.

She is caring and listens to her students. The overall course was not something extraordinary or difficult, If you are good at time management you will get the best mark and be satisfied. She responds to your emails and makes sure you are taken care of. Easy to understand material. No tests, only assignments and discussion boards!

I have never had a course that had this many evaluations. If you're looking for a course with a light work load, look else where. I did not expect almost 10 HEAVY content assignments ie multiple 10-20 page papers. Not to mention, terrible marker. feedback stated that there is material missing when it was clearly cited in my work. Avoid at all costs

I honestly hate this class. It's more stressful than it is educational and it is content and work-heavy. If this is your only class then the heaviness of the class would be fine. There are 2 papers (one can be a group assignment, find your own group) and a group case study. Everyone can handle workloads differently, but this is not a class to take.
