This instructor lacks the capacity to take different opinions. If you say something she does not like, she will give you a low grade regardless all your effort. She gave me exactly 79% and refused to provide any feedback. Also she is not very consistent. She first agreed to add 1% but then refused to do so because I submitted a grade appeal.
Just finished taking the intensive class and I loved it! The content of the course is very interesting. There is journals, group presentation, and final paper at the end. Lisa is an amazing professor! She's hilarious, very knowledgable and overall great fun. Would highly recommend this intensive class.
Lisa is a great prof! The readings she selected were a great blend of 1st person narratives and academic writing. She had many guest speakers so that students can learn from people who present with various identities. I did really well in the class by showing up, doing my readings and participating! I don't have a negative thing to say about her!
Amazing professor. Very knowledgeable and supportiveaccommodating to her students. I miss taking her courses
One of the worst profs I've ever had online. All of her assignments were unclear, the grading methods were horrible and she was rude in her responses to students. Having two 40% assignments and 20% for participation leaves with limited feedback gave no guidance for expectations. If you have a PHD don't respond to your students rudely and with"... "
What a wonderful teacher, knows her stuff, teaches it to others and encourages participation in such a way that everyone is held accountable to bring themselves and personal knowledge to class.
Awesome prof! Well prepared, great pace, fantastic class discussions, class engagement. Terrific overall. Worked hard for my A and just enjoyed the course.
2 written assignments and 1 group presentation. all of which are simple. weekly quizzes, but her lectures pretty much cover everything, so reading the text is not really required. quiz marks are posted fast, but the other assignments aren't. really nice and easy prof, would take another class with her if i could.
I loved having her as a prof. She did an awesome job teaching the class especially by having tests every week so that we actually had to read the textbook.
A wonderful professor who really practices the principles of AOP. Lisa has a lot of experience in the field of child protection and has contributed a lot to the community. Any student wanting to learn will certainly benefit from her approach.
