Best prof ever!

This class was such a waste of time. The lectures were so heavy, but it felt like nothing was actually discussed. There is also a group project which is the biggest weight. The entire class was lost on the final. So much disorganization overall and not a bird course in the slightest like I thought it'd be.

Make sure you get into a good group for the street treats project. The exam was definitely not what I expected, completely bummed that but just be on top of your readings because he's sort of a lazy prof so you have to stay on top. The in class assignments are chill and he normally marks high on those. He lets you use ChatGPT.

I felt like he was sponsored by chatgpt or something, if he gets commission i might understand why he does not stop telling us to use it for everything! Very bad professor, I paid for no reason this university should double check who they hire this was really a joke! I would rather take a fashion course, i might learn more about the environment.

I wish he actually taught us things instead of making us read a bunch of stuff outside class and then yapping abt how great AI is nonstop during class. The lectures near the end got more content focused and he's actually kinda cool but not a great teacher even though he can be, or could have been, happy retirement to him ig!

He does not lecture, gives lots of readings before class and then there is an in class assignment. I would rarely do all the readings and still had good understanding it wasn't a hard class. As an eus student it felt like a joke, when he would would talk everyone talks over him no one took the class seriously. Final grade 83

i quite enjoyed mr bardecki. yes while his lectures and overall content was boring, he cared about the subject and his students. he also was fun to talk to. he is retiring which I'm sad about since he was a cool prof so to anyone hating dw he's done this summer

This is a teach yourself course and professor. There's a heavy reliance on Chat gpt teaching you the course content and guiding you through the class assignments as the professor rarely teaches the module material in class. The classes and assignments are uninspiring and the module contains a lot or reading.

attendance not mandatory technically but there's in-class assignments that are randomly assignment one of the two days lecture happens so you don't know when u can and cannot skip. prof is really nice and accommodating, the material is just super boring its more of history and politics. he provides the slides online but its incomplete.

I regret ignoring warnings about this professor. He's inflexible, overuses ChatGPT, and his grading is unclear. Random in-class assignments made attendance unpredictable, even during emergencies. He refused to accommodate conflicts like a midterm from a diff clas. If you want to learn about Las Vegas, just visit—it's more enjoyable than this class.
