Andrew Nigro

Andrew is such a kind and sincere prof. He is soo passionate about this course and cares deeply about his students. His course was super easy and he explained everything step by step. As long as you hit everything in the assignment criteria, this course is an easy A+. I wish he taught other courses because I genuinely enjoyed his teaching style.

Overall great instructor! There's easy/fun projects each week, some may be difficult to get on the first try (i.e. if your printer hates you). Clear instructions, is approachable, and answers questions helpfully. Acknowledges effort, make sure to show it through attendance and curiosity in labs (Lec study guides for midterm + final are GOLD).

Very easy grader- 4 assignments based on pretty clear criteria, and two exams (midterm and final) that were both online multiple choice with questions straight from the exam review. His lectures were just playing videos and he didn't really get back to emails but I learned more putting projects together by hand than in lectures anyway.

Andrew is a great prof, he's easygoing and straightforward. His labs are easy you have to just follow instructions from slides, if you have questions about it make sure to ask him about it before it's due. His midterm and final are straight from the study guide he gives out, so study it as is. Finally, talk to him as he has good job experience.

Andrew was one of my favourite profs I've ever had. He is so clear in his explanations and is the most understanding and easy to talk to. Attendance is not mandatory but if you do go to all labs you will 100% be successful in this class. Probably wouldn't have enjoyed this course as much if he was not the prof!

Andrew is a great prof and very understanding, he was an excellent lecturer and marker, he had bi weekly labs and weekly lectures, exam and midterm were very fair in marks and difficulty

Andrew is a really kind professor that cares for his students. The assignments were a bit confusing at first but he goes over them and if you are ever confused he will help you if you ask. He tells you exactly how to do well on the midterm and the final exam. Overall, a very nice prof!

Andrew is a good professor, and the recent ratings show. His grading rubric is straightforward and he gives you everything you need to know to get a good mark so there's no guessing around. As long as you attend his lectures and labs and don't slack off, you will easily get an A. The effort you put into his course will pay off in the end.

Andrew was such a caring prof from beginning to end. If you can follow instructions, you can easily get above 90 in this course. He is very thorough with his expectations and accommodates where he can. Such a nice prof, I hope to have him again!

Andrew gets a bad rep. He is a very easy prof and very helpful, you just need to ask. I got an A+ in this course because I communicated with him daily about assignments and he even helped me with fixing things.
