Richard Deklerk

Professor Richard is one of the nicest professors I have ever had. He is incredibly friendly, and wise, and respects boundaries. His classes are both entertaining and educational. I highly recommend taking all of his courses. Trust me, he is even nicer and better than you might expect, and you will truly enjoy his classes.

I took him for 1st semester on tuesday at 8AM. Lowkey this guy was funny tho, he always has a positive mood change and relates the slide shows to his family and business and makes the class laugh so much almost every class. W Prof

I truly only looked forward to my 8am lectures with Professor Deklerk because he is insanely hilarious and always has a way to make the class interesting. His slides were very concise which made his lectures finish in 1.5 hrs, so I would use the textbook for detailed notes. Additionally, his midterm and final was straightforward.

He is an easy marker and the exams were straightforward I enjoyed his lectures

Don't expect much from his lectures. He just runs through 40 plus slides in an hour or an hour and a half. He always goes off track by somehow relating the materials to his family or his business. Apart from that, he's an open minded person and has a great personality, plus, not a tough grader!

Richard was amazing. I think his rating should be a 5. I had an 8am class with him, and I would never miss a class. He is hilarious, keeps you engaged, and explains course material. I would take his course again in a heartbeat if he was the prof.

This man has been saving me considering I had him as an 8am class from falling asleep. In terms of the course, its more common sense, the assignments aren't difficult, and the group project was fun. Everything's posted on d2l, not attendance; the lecture can be done in 30-40 min, but spends 30+min. on top talking about personal life.

richard was an amazing prof. firstly, don't take notes at his lectures, they're posted online so just do them on ur own time. he's also a pretty easy grader and you just have to put the minimum for a good mark on his mini-assignments. he a fun prof. at his lectures just listen and engage, he loves personal stories and will acc make class fun

Richard is a funny guy with a lot of stories. Classes were always under two hours because he goes through the slides quickly, so it's best to revise at home on your own pace. The globus simulation wasn't too enjoyable as it is a confusing interface but you learn over time.

Richard is an interesting guy and seems like a decent person but should not be teaching at a university. He does not explain anything in class, does not go over any content and just rambles for 40 minutes before ending a 3 hour class. He also does not help you if you ask questions, he simply says "what do you think" and moves on.
