I completed JRN344 in 2021, it was indeed for credit - not an elective. The course was conducted via an online format, I found the prof too formal, and expected so much. For example, "mini-quizzes" 2 every week - ridiculous. You are expected to watch some dull segment that really teaches nothing, and costs you 40m/episode. Overall not recommended
