Cheryl Vallender

i had cheryl as my lab prof for jrn 103 and 105, and she's super super kind and caring towards her students, and often felt more like a friend than professor. she marks relatively easily but gives excellent feedback during class and on assignments. if you have the option to switch into her lab, do it!

Literally the best lab instructor I've ever had, I can only assume she's the same for lectures. She grades super easy and gives the best feedback to improve your work to see a change.

I had Cheryl for JRN 273 and she was great, such a sweet and kind individual. I did not get close with her but you can tell she cares for her students. Very laid back, assignments were easy enough and was easy and understanding to talk to her if you had a problem. One con was unclear instructions on assignments. she was great otherwise!

I've never left a rating on this platform before but Cheryl just changed that, and it's only week 2 in the semester. She really is the absolute sweetest. She recognizes that school is just one part of our busy lives, and she's very accommodating. She truly cares about us and it's evident that she genuinely wants to see us succeed.

She's a G. Super easy class. She's so accommodating and is actually the sweetest.

Cheryl is a great professor. She was very understanding and caring when it came to personal issues that made it hard to complete an assignment. Class assignments weren't too hard and were marked fairly and well.
