All online, hw easy, quiz easy, exam easy, great prof. I didn't have any issue that made me have to email her but I heard she doesn't reply to emails. This is the easiest course and easiest A+ i've ever taken though. Wanna take ASL201 with her but I guess she only does ASL 101, unfortunately.
Will not take future classes with her. Super unorganized, doesn't respond to emails whatsoever! It can be really frustrating not accommodating. She is nice in class but ignores emails and any questions. Like she's a good person but a bad prof. Asl was not easy took it as an elective but ended up spending so much time for this class. A lot of hw too
She is really nice and funny. Doesn't respond to emails but she is still great. ASL itself is not super easy but my grade turns out great. Homework are multiple choices questions, super easy. Quiz, it depends, but won't be too too hard. Anyways, she is great.
Great and funny prof, but sucks at answering emails. She is either slow or entirely forgets to post the lecture videos. YOU NEED TO ATTEND LECTURES TO DO GOOD! I didn't read the textbook, just attended lecture and watched the video.
She doesn't respond to emails but always has time to answer questions at the end of lectures. I genuinely enjoyed her lectures and she was very clear while teaching. She doesn't post the lectures so attendance is important! There is weekly homework (submit on D2L) and a few comprehension tests and partnered presentations! Overall 10/10 prof!
Chris was amazing!! At first it was a little intimidating having a deaf professor but she almost immediately made me feel welcome and at ease. Her classes were always fun and engaging and her assignments were very reasonable. She was great, I really recommend her.
Chris is so much fun, she's super animated so that you can easily understand what she's trying to say! Also incredibly friendly and so willing to help students with questions! I would 100% do this class all over again if I could!
Her classes are amazing and different from any other class due to the nature of it. She makes sure everyone understands everything and is a very caring and funny person. Her assessments are fair, and she does not belive in putting pressure on students are cares for them.
Chris was an absolute angel to learn from. She is super interactive, funny and sweet. She is so genuine about teaching ASL. We use a third party ASL teaching platform that was very beneficial to understanding sign language. 100% would take her courses again. If you take her class, you'll be lucky to experience her radiating positivity & humor.
Chris is an amazing professor and simply wants you to try your best. She understands learning a new language isn't easy and wants to make the experience fun so you'll continue to pursue learning ASL! Course mainly consists of homework sets from the textbook, a video assignment, and a final exam which is done with a partner.
