TAKE HER FOR RESEARCH!!! She explains concepts well and have clear, straightforward grading criteria. She is flexible and accommodating. She also brought cookies as the end of class which was nice!
Not a hard class but hard professor, she's strict, condescending, passive aggressive, and expects everyone to be fully "not knowing" since they are coming into a first year class. A lot of homework considering we're spending 16 hours on placement a week.
Bethany is extremely kind, understanding, and always willing to help. Assignments were straight forward and she always made herself available to clarify and go over them when asked. Very lovely!
My interactions with Professor were sometimes challenging, particularly regarding communication, but I appreciate her expertise and the effort she brings to the course. For future students I suggests to be proactive in seeking clarity and support when needed, as this will help them navigate the course more smoothly.
Bethany is a very caring and understanding professor. She has a strong passion for working with children, which is evident in her work, lectures, feedback, and conversations. She respects everyone's opinion. Attendance is mandatory since it was a pass/fail course.
Bethany is such a sweet prof. You can tell shes very passionate about the course which makes her lectures fun to attend. Attendance is mandatory because of her weekly assignment, and lates do seem to bother her so avoid those if you're looking to stay on her good side. other than that she's a fair grader and an understanding professor. I recommend!
She is so kind and a lifesaver. I was scared to communicate with my professors about my mental health and issues with my work but she's been so accommodating and helpful and genuinely cares about my success
I had her for CLD 322, although it's not showing up as an option for some reason. Her expectations are clear, and she explains course content in a way that's easy to understand. Attend class + do readings!!! She thoroughly answers questions and is very understanding. Plus, she baked us the most amazing cookies on the day of the final exam.
I had her for field placement. Kind and understanding that things may come up from time to time and learning plans may not always be implemented by the due date time. She gives good feedback and urges students to make corrections and re-submit for full marks which is really fair. Even baked muffins for the class on our last day.
Worst professor ever. What causes student stress? weekly short answer quiz.
