Great prof! Engaging. Show up to his lectures as he likes to go in depth with things that will most likely be covered on the test. Answers questions. Don't really need the textbook for this class.
I had him for both PLNs and FNR 201, all three classes were my favourite, not specifically because of the content, but because he made them so enjoyable. His knowledge and experience was applied into every lecture, and hearing his personal insight made class more entertaining and interesting. He doesn't teach 3rd or 4th yrs so I miss him!
I liked this course even though research methods and stats can be uninteresting at times. The assignment is super easy. Tests are pretty good. Overall a good experience with this prof.
Chill guy but also very conceited. Lectures are dry and phoned-in, feels like he doesn't even want to be a prof. You're better off teaching yourself with the textbook. Tests are full of obscure and annoyingly worded questions with four options that could all be correct depending on semantics. Final exam worth 40% was jarring because of it.
I really appreciate what he tries to do to help students grow both within and outside the classroom. I'm glad to have taken several classes with him. So far he is my favorite prof.
Super clear with exam structure and questions by giving hints or free answers. Really inspirational and respected. He skips a lot of stuff on the slides but he does elaborate on specific stuff. Super sweet and hilarious as well, really enjoyed going to his lectures.
His tests and exams are fair and he pretty much tells you the content of the tests if you listen. Take advantage of his office hours and study early. My favorite prof this semester.
Not bad for a research methods and stats course. Content is dry, but bearable.
Knowledgeable and great person. This course was relatively straightforward.
