She was so sweet! I went from a failing chem grade in gr 12 to an A+. She was the absolute best, I hope she teaches organic chem too!

The lecture slides were quite well-made. There was a textbook for this course, but it was totally optional, as I didn't even look at the textbook and still got an A+. Midterms and finals were easy as you can use a cheat sheet for both of them. The lab section of the course helps you understand and clear any confusion surrounding some complex Qs.

can't say much about her as a teacher since I knew the content already, but she gave good strategies. easy exams with cheat sheets that get graded. the grading for cheat sheet was weird, I did better on my second one which was mostly info straight from the slides which was not encouraged. lots of chances to do well with weekly homework and quizzes.

She is an amazing prof on all fronts. Super understanding and flexible with due dates. Her exams are easy and she even allows you to bring a cheat sheet, which you get graded for. She marks these generously and provides good feedback. Her lectures are interesting, even if you don't like chemistry, you can definitely do well with her as your prof.

Prof Sehring is THE BEST prof in TMU!! she is so amazing and understanding. Very flexible with due dates and explains very well with enthusiasm. You can tell she's very passionate about her job. Her exams were really easy and students had cheat sheets that they themselves made and was used during exam!! 100% recommend , really amazing prof !!

One of the nicest professors ever. I found all the class work and tests very fair. I struggle with chemistry and I found this class went really well. She cares about her students so much, kind and helps you get good marks and understand content. Amazing with there way she handled COVID. I can't recommend her enough she is the best!

This was the most thoughtful professor I've had. Lecture style could have been better, maybe more breaks or posted questions to discuss during lecture. Group environmental proposal was referred to as a lab report (confusing), instruction could have been clearer and written down in the lab manual. Examples of proposals would have also helped a lot.

The worst prof I have had in 5 years. The lectures were disorganized and didnt make sense, the way that participation was graded didnt make sense, the big group lab report was poorly constructed and also didnt make sense. It is clear that the instructor put the bare minimum of work into this course, and our marks suffered as a result.

Best chemitry professor ever! Very accommodating and understanding. Make sure you attend the weekly tutorials as she provides a lot of hints for exams.
