Goat curved our final grades so many people who failed passed I got a 50 on the dot so she boosted my grade. SHE CURVES THE EXAM VERY OFTEN upper years have told me she did the same for them. She can be a bit rude to approach and press you when she can't understand your question to the point you just say you understand and be quiet. Zeinab>Derbal.
There aren't good profs in the ITM department, she is just better to have as a prof over Derbal since she makes her midterms. Final will be Derbal tho as always. ITM200 is pretty hard so try your best. The TA that grades the homework gave out easy 100's as long as you did your job and submitted the homework so make sure to complete the homework.
ITM courses typically don't have "good" professors, but relative to other options, Zeinab is a fine option to choose if you're taking ITM200. It is a very difficult course and you will have to grasp the concepts well to be able to pass. The midterm is 40%, final exam 50%, and 10% is assignments.
The course itself is difficult because of how much weight the exams had, one slip and you're probably going to fail. The assignments weren't that bad and I guess she's better than Derbal. The midterm wasn't so bad its just about getting a good grade in the final. If you're not a Python pro its going to get difficult.
Probably one of the good profs for this course, but it's a lot of self-teaching, you are not going to understand much in class.
Honestly a pretty bad prof when it comes to teaching , i solely took her because her midterm was pretty easy. If derbal wasnt such a menace with his midterm i would rather have him teaching. Final is made by derbal tho so its better to select a prof which has an easier midterm to maximize marks
worst professor can't understand what she says and doesn't teach properly
She is a decent prof. She walks through the contents during class with practical works and uploads them afterward. She'll answer any questions you have, whether in or outside of class. Some classes are unexpectedly held on Zoom so check your email regularly. If you study and practice all the materials she provides, you'll do fine on the exams.
Ignore all the 1 star reviews, those are just people who don't study and cry when the professor wont curve their grade an obnoxious amount. She is a good lecturer, always down to answer questions and is constantly making sure students are on track and understand what is going on. Mid term and final were extremely fair. Overall, excellent professor.
