Blake Lambert

Prof Lambert is eccentric. He cares about small details, so his grading can seem harsh. His feedback is detailed. There was one group assignment in this class. Overall, Blake encouraged student creativity. He likes to develop rapport with students, and will be more accommodating if you attend regularly and he knows your name.

Blake's marking scheme can be very confusing. He will deduct marks for minor things, and he will call you out in class. He was nice, but if I had the option I wouldn't take his class again.

I loved learning under Blake. He is a tough grader, but I do believe he marks things fairly and professionally. He is open to going over work and where things went wrong. He helped me improve vastly. He was very understanding. Just be respectful and take your assignments seriously. Don't be afraid to laugh at his jokes. Great instructor.

Blake was a great prof who gave me indispensable feedback on my podcast project.

He is the worst do not take this class, ask for a different lab instructor he is very passive-aggressive and unprofessional, he thinks he's funny but he's just annoying. Save yourself. Multiple people have asked to be switched out of his lab which should tell you enough.

Avoid Blake at all costs! He is very aggressive and unaccommodating. He is also very unprofessional and short-tempered. He's constantly getting angry over the smallest things, I have never had a positive interaction with him. His emails and feedback are angry and rude. His personal opinion of you will affect your grade.

I had him for my lab and he was extremely condescending and passive-aggressive towards me. When he grades papers and assignments he's very nitpicky with small details and will grade you down for minor errors. He also made some comments about race that I don't think he understood was hurtful but it definitely was. Avoid! He has a god complex!

The major assignment for the course is relatively easy. Mini assignments are not hard but require an interview aspect. He only goes over the requirements of an assignments a week before they are due. Does not teach during his lectures. Course is not hard but his personality and attitude make lectures unbearable.

The course was straightforward and only a couple assignments for grading. He tries to be engaging and encourage students to have fun in class. Unclear grading criteria and doesn't provide useful feedback to actually improve. He comes across as condescending and super opinionated, weird for a course that's supposed to examine news and journalism.

Blake is extremely condescending and flat-out rude. Had him for my lab and I hated it sm that I didn't want to come to class. He doesn't give constructive criticism but instead points out everything you did wrong in a passive-aggressive way. One of the toughest markers I've had and it's really hard to improve in his class. Avoid Avoid Avoid!
