Sarah Dermody

I took PSY 215 with her and the lectures were kind of dry but you can tell she cares about the subject a ton. There are 2 midterms, a final exam and 2 assignments. The assignments are clearly outlined. Make sure to do the weekly readings and try to attend lectures for clarity on slide content but if you miss classes, you'll be fine. She's chill.

Took PSY215 with this prof. Prof goes the full three hours. Prepare to read. Passionate but has long repetitive lecture. Exams cumulative but based on what you know. Two exams were challenging but reasonable (SA from readings). Had to go on leave before final exam, which made it stressful as the final had nothing that we learnt in class on it.

I took her for psy 411 and she is a fantastic professor, she definitely makes sure all of her lectures are thorough and is very understanding about missed lectures.

I really enjoyed Dr. Dermody's teaching style. She was very clear with what she wanted, lectures were structured in a way that made it easy to learn/understand, and she provided amazing feedback on all assignments. I really recommend taking a course with her!
