His lectures very extremely fast-paced. When doing an example, his hand writing is very messy, so if you miss a lecture it's hard to understand his notes. Final exam should've focused more on after midterm content, however, seemed to be the opposite. Previous final was a lot easier compared to W26 semester. Slides do have many examples and theory.
this guy goes wayyyyyy to fast and rlly heavy on iclicker questions so u gotta go to ur classes if u want the iclicker marks. hes not a good prof always has this attitude and gets mad really easily idk why. dont take him just go to omar atp
One of the better physics profs I've had. Goes fast paced in the lecture but slides are fairly easy to follow.
The most amazing lectures, had a lot of problems with pcs 211 with another prof but he made pcs 125 actually really enjoyable. Go to the lecture, people say he goes to fast but honesty I liked it cause that meant i was never bored in class, his review lecture will give so many hints on what parts of the theory are gonna be in the exams.
He acts like he cares but when you go up to him to ask a question all you get is humliation in return. Going to his lectures is such a waste of time and you can learn the same things off of youtube if not better. Took his course because of a high rmp rating however I think it was his first time teaching this course.
Dr. Brown is a good professor compared to the other professors for this course. The exams were more concept-heavy than PCS 211, but I would say they were slightly easier. Dr. Brown does go a bit fast, so you do have to be actively paying attention or spend your own time understanding the lectures to do well in this course!
Great lectures, course material was explained well, and examples were provided. answers questions in lectures and outside of class
I will dropout before I take another class of his
Could not teach concepts well. Would pull random equations out and not explain where he got them and why we were using them. The mastering homework given did not help at all with what was on the midterm and neither did the practice midterm.
Too many iClickers, crash out easily & he doesn't seem to enjoy teaching.
