Kimberly Jenkins

One of my fav profs so far at TMU. I enjoyed all the lectures, I took this course online and they were very engaging. Wasn't a fan of the discussion posts, but the readings were compelling and relevant. Kimberly is obviously very knowledgeable in her field and shared great advice and feedback. The textbook was actually useful and interesting.

Bigoted, intolerant, and talks out of both sides of her face. The living embodiment of the Professional Managerial Class. Everything wrong with Academia today.

Great prof. Very inclusive discussions during class. I like the fact that she is actively working and making change within the fashion industry. Her knowledge is current and up to date. Wasn't completely available by email, had to go through TA's, but never had a problem. The textbook choice was interesting and useful.

Kim is absolutely incredible. Her lectures are incredibly engaging and thought-provoking. There was a midterm, a final paper, and an exam all of which were very straightforward. Tutorial exercises were given every week and were completion marks. The lecture material was very relevant to the course. One of the most memorable classes I've taken.

She creates a really good environment to learn in thru her energy and knowledge; shes actually working in the industry so she knows a lot + you wont be bored. We had one project that wasnt that hard + participation marks + 2 exams and each were open book so they were an easy A. GAs were very accommodating to students, dont be afraid to ask for help

Was my favourite class of first semester; the lectures were asynchronous but still interesting + the tutorials were engaging. We had 3 projects (each for different units) which were very open-ended which was nice. Discussion posts were a little meh but everything else was great. Kim is a real inspiration.
