Daniel Hawes

Disorganized, tough grading with no feedback, assignments have vague criteria

Prof. Hawes made class lots of fun. He was warm and helpful with everyone. One of those lecturers that wants students to get something out of the course, and isn't just reading from slides.

The term down to Earth has been applied to the point where many people who do use this phrase have lost sight on its true meaning. I am here to say that Daniel Hawes is very much indeed down to Earth in so far as personality and communicative skills. This makes him a top notch teacher!

Lets face it, not everyone who is highly educated can effectively teach. That is not a failing but rather an undisputable truth about how people are. Professor Hawes is fortunately not one of those types! He did a great job teaching the material and made it enjoyable!

What I like so much about Professor Hawes is the fact that he is a very approachable man. In my experience, many of my professors have been rather unsociable outside the classroom to the point where I feel intimidated by their presence. Dan is the type of person who will carry what he is saying even outside the classroom.

Prof. Hawes is super cool and he knows how to effectively communicate his knowledge into a process where his students can totally understand what he is saying. That is what makes him so sought after!

I think Prof. Hawes is great. He knows how to bring a bit of life to his topics thanks to his energy and enthusiasm. Hes very responsive when I have questions or need some help and I really appreciate that.

Professor Dan is my fav professor. He keeps the course interesting and that has really helped me keep my grades up since I dont get tired of the class. Considering how seldom that happens Im glad I got him.

Dr. Daniel has his hands full Im sure with all this online teaching but he really manages to make it all fun and interesting. He knows his topics well and manages to bring a good feel to the classroom.

Dan is the best. He knows how to keep us engaged and thinking. He has a pretty interesting class but his personality makes it more enjoyable than it should be. He holds good discussions and allows us to be creative in our thinking.
