I had him for CHE 214, and he was amazing. Thermo isn't my best course, however, he would do his example questions so well and in detail that I would understand most of it in class, and when I'd go home and look over it, it became clearer. Great prof and is extremely patient.
Took CHE307 & CHE414 with him. A great lecturer AND person. He posts very organized slides before each lecture and he expects you to fill its blanks in class. So u better attend. Loved everything about his class except when he solves problems on the board. His hand writing is tiny and therefore hard to see. Otherwise he's a caring and good lecturer
The best prof ever at Ryerson he knows what hes talking about and he know how to explain the materials. I just wish he can teach more courses to take it with him.
Clear grading criteria and expectations for projects and tests.
For professionals, his courses are always a smart idea to take.
One of the best Profs at Ryerson for Engineering. Always choose him if you have the chance, you will not regret it.
One of my fav CHNG professors, everyone in my class loves this professor. Truly someone who cares about his students. Exams and assignments are very fair. You have to attend class to fill in the blanks but he does post videos of his lectures. Also gives the chance for extra credit after class.
Professor Al Jibouri is a good professor. His in-class board writing is horrendous and I never want to experience it again, but he really does care for his students, and gives hard but reasonable exams. He transitioned us to online classes exceptionally well. I'm glad they got professors like him onboard for the CHNG department.
