Could not focus, knew more about her dog than about research. Go with Purnima, its much more enjoyable and you actually learn the material

I adored this class. Caitlin is kind, thorough, engaging, and extremely knowledge. The incorporation of her past research with sex workers really made the course for me. Highest grade Ive ever received on a group project, not a hard marker. Her lectures are dense but she does a good job breaking everything down.

Personally I loved this class. Caitlin was super helpful over email and online. If you attend the Zoom lecture and did the readings, you would have no problem doing well. I learned alot from her examples and thought she did a good job of showing why research is important.

I found Caitlins lectures were easier to watch if you skipped lecture and played them at 2x speed. Quizzes were harder than they needed to be, but if you went to office hours she was really helpful. Fair marker, but it seems her and the 'tutorial teachers' did not communicate, as they constantly contradicted themselves on assignment expectations.

This professor is awful, she makes her quizzes based on the readings where as the other professors go by the slides, does not explain the research assignment at all and marks hard, when during lectures she is more concern about her dog Rocket then teaching the lectures, she goes too much off the lectures, Warning Avoid go with the others that care

Caitlin made this course much harder than it needed to be. It was frustrating to learn that other classes got easier tests, and more help from their professors. She did not explain the final research assignment enough for us to do well on it, and many students were left feeling unprepared and overwhelmed.

Avoid if you can. Not the best to be honest- she is very picky about what she wants and makes her own tests. Other profs who teach this class made their quizzes manageable whereas the class average for her tests were barely over 75

Research is a difficult course but Caitlin made it engaging and fun. Uses examples from her own research in order to make it more real. Tests were fair I thought.

Not the best, for research classes go with Purnima George, she grades easier and her tests are based off of lectures as opposed to heavily based on readings. Not the best experience with Caitlin, she takes forever to get through material and you really feel burnt out by the end of class

I really enjoyed class with Caitlin. She knows her stuff, and is very helpful if you go to office hours. I would be happy to take a class with her again.
