He always tries to engage the class, breakout rooms, often asks for examples to get you thinking which helps you understand the content very well. Lectures feel more like a convo than anything else. A good amount of reading. People say his marking is tough, but he really just wants something super short that shows you understand the core concept.
not a good professor at all!! avoid him at all costs, doesn't care about students nor does he want to see you succeed. hates when you ask questions and is not there to clarify anything. he does not post lecture notes and does not post slides so it is up to you to go through the textbook.
There is a quiz right after every class. He utilizes a time stress strategy in all his exams so be ready to be very tight on time in all his examinations. Read the textbook and make notes because lectures are pretty useless and you should be good.
Do not take this prof if online! He does not present any powerpoints when hes teaching on zoom so you dont have anything to look at but his face when hes teaching. For tests, he does not give enough time to complete answers for the content given!!
This prof is actually one of the worst profs at Ryerson university. He is absolutely inconsiderate and horrible at teaching. I do not understand why universities hire profs like him.
tbh hes a pretty decent prof, exams are all short answers but he'll bell curve it if its bad. If you study and do the work youll be fine! dont slack though and make sure you take notes on the textbook and readings because they really do matter. hate that he doesnt do powerpoints tho, lecture feels pretty useless most times with him just talking.
he's the only prof that does short answer exams but his class is ok. his lectures are content review from tb (no slides) so just read the tb. he's kind of rude, entitled, and inconsiderate like the others have said and doesn't bother to announce any details about the exams (number of questions & amount of time). only advice is to take another prof.
He wasn't the worst nor was he the best prof. He doesn't take any criticism and could be rude. He did deviate from other profs in terms of exams (all short answers instead of MC). His lessons seemed random but you could get the gist of what his questions would be like on the exam from them and he marked easy on exams and assignments.
I had him for MKT 400 he honestly is one of the first marketing classes that when I left it I felt that I actually learned something well enough that it will help me in the future. The in-class assignments are prepared for any real-world marketing. the exam and midterm is challenging but so worth it. He's not your average Ryerson proff.
