Pretty good and fair professor, kinder than most from previous experience

The course consisted of lab activities, three large assignments each worth 20%, a check-in test, and a final exam. Dr. Cleave is extremely passionate about his field and strives to make the course manageable while still engaging; he is a very lenient marker, so as long as you follow the outline you'll more than likely get 90's.

Assignment 1: 20% Term Project 30% Midterm 20% Exam 20% Discussion 10%. Open book online MT & Exam. 4 group discussions in person at the end of class for 5-10mins. Term project was hard but everything else is easy. Really nice and cares about students.

Extremely nice prof! Gave multiple extensions for each assignment without asking. Very caring and wants to help if you run into tech problems. Funny guy as well, you can tell he's into the topic at hand and what he does.

Responds to emails very quickly. Lectures were concise and easy to follow. Likes to post recordings of the lectures if you missed them! The course consisted of two assignments, one mid-term, and one final. Evan is definitely a gem. Take him if you can!

Professor Cleave is a great guy. Enthusiastic about his material and genuinely wants you to succeed. He is friendly and informative, and his content is interesting. Great class/professor!
