Course was poorly organized and managed. The prof did not put the enough effort into what he was doing. with exceptions of labs I can tell I did not learn anything new from this prof.
Dr. Amini is by far the most disorganized professor I have ever had. He had questions on the exam (MCQ) that were incomplete! Some questions just ended MID-SENTENCE! He never took responsibility and either blamed TA or students themselves for issues that occured. Some questions on exams were just marked incorrectly and needed to be fixed after.
A really good prof. Really understands the student's feelings. Does things for the betterment of students. He is very generous and caring to the students. The TAs are also very generous when it comes to marking labs. Thoroughly enjoyed Fall 2020 semester with Dr. Amini.
Grading criteria hella unclear. Gives a project that he created out of thin air without trying it out if it works or not based on what hes taught. Flash news it didnt work. So basically had to learn random stuff in a week and do this 15% project. Not worth the mental stress
Literally the least respected prof I have ever seen due to his extreme incompetence in handling students. He does not respect students and their time and thus no one respects him. Easy math but Im sure hed get that wrong too like half of his answers on his exams :)
Open book multiple choice midterm and exam
Had him for ELE 632 and he was one of the best profs I have ever had. He really cares about his students and teaches the material in depth with lots of examples.
Great at teaching the course, however the exams were quite challenging. The material was covered in depth and he did plenty of examples in class that helped during the exams.
Great lecturer and really cares about his students. The disorganization was a result of the TAs and not the professor. He is great lecturer that relates the course material to practical applications, covered all of the material in depth, and provided as much help as he could regarding the labs and projects.
