go to class and pay attention. i feel like she explains things pretty well but sometimes she rambles. no slides, no tech in class. i found that she was honestly super generous with marking. my long answers were shi and less than a page but i'd still get seven out of ten. overall pretty good prof, nice lady
i didnt expect to like this class as much as i did and part of that was because prof enns is really good! its not that hard if you go to all the lectures and take pretty detailed notes as she doesnt post the content. prof enns is clearly very intelligent and passionate about these topics which makes it easier to pay attention
very friendly and passionate about what she teaches. electronics aren't allowed which made it hard to take notes (i'm a slow writer). the readings were also kinda hard to understand but the content was interesting. attendance + paying close attention will make this course easier.
Took her class as with no knowledge of philosophy and I did fine! Go to lectures and focus on what she is saying; there is a "correct" answer, and her lectures can't be understood through other peoples notes. I never did the readings or went for feedback, so I can say it does make the difference if you want an A.
She's keeps the content very engaging and interesting. Participation is highly encouraged but not necessarily mandatory. She gives great feedback and is caring and considerate to specific needs. She's easy to talk to and approach. Overall would definitely take a class with her again. Very enjoyable.
Prof Enns is amazing. She is a sweetheart and gives great feedback. A bit of a tough grader, but if you speak to her, you can tell how passionate she is. Do the readings! They will help for exams
Dr. Enns was a great professor! While the material was difficult to understand at first, if you go to lecture and ask questions, she is more than capable of making it make sense. Grading I felt was fair, and her lectures were incredibly engaging. Totally would take another course with her!
She thought I used AI just because I had “sophisticated words for an undergraduate essay” ( they were not big sophisticated words). God forbid there are good writers out there. All of a sudden good writing= AI
One of the most kind and accommodating professors ever. You'll be fine as long as you do the required readings, GO TO CLASS, and try your best to understand the material. She was so helpful the entire time, and I took this in my first semester of uni which definitely set me up for success. Great prof and great class!
Good professor, clearly passionate about the topics she was teaching but content was super confusing for me (however I'm not very strong in philosophy in general). Fair marker but you have to attend the lectures since she doesn't post any notes. LOTS of confusing readings but she always explains it. You have to buy one book but its $11 digitally.
