Class was actually easy if you just read the slides over again. The test and final exam were heavy on memorization of terms and definitions but it was somewhat easy to do well. He does sound a bit like a monotone but this class was a business class basically. He is a decent prof
Sounds like a monotone a lot of the time and lectures might feel boring. The midterm and final are easy. However he does not post any sample tests for review. The project was lengthy, but the marking scheme is light. On tests, even if you don't know the answer, just write down relevant stuff like equations/formulas and he will give you part marks
You do not have to attend this Prof lecture as they are hilarious. You just have to read the textbook and do the lecture and tutorial problems.
IND303 has one of the highest failure rates. The textbook is really hard to comprehend. Dr. Li made it very understandable. Hopefully, they change the textbook one day.
Mech eng was depression, so I switched to Industrial. Had I know I'd have this guy as a prof, I'd have stayed in Mech. He's more confused than the students about the course. I'd compare his teaching to a robot, but at least a robot knows what it's doing and can form sentences... this guy can't even do that. Every 2 seconds "Ummmmm" or "I think".
Um, Yeah, I think. The only 3 things this guy says. I think he is more lost than us about the course. No proper examples and the exam is on stuff that wasn't even mentioned. I don't even know if the course is hard or easy, I literally don't know anything. The prof sucks lectures suck textbook doesn't have enough problems to learn stuff properly.
He is a great prof! Wants his students to succeed by trying his best to help his students. Especially on his midterms. Hell even let you do 2 FULL questions per page. Dont get me started on the lectures. They are beautiful. His notes have all the information you need and his exams have questions straight from the slides.
Hes not a professor, maybe he has knowledge, but hes definitely not a professor who doesnt know how to teach. Having knowledge and teaching it is 2 different things, hes confused just like his exams.
Literally the worst prof I've had in my entire life.
Absolutely brutal. I took his class and his lecture notes were some hot garbage. Prepare for the toughest midterm of your life with next to 0 preparation from this prof. Rely on yourself and ONLY yourself.
