Matthew Philp

He's very understandable with our generations bad attention spans, lectures are less draining then most classes, he is a tough grader for the presentations but is overall has a good teaching method, doesn't overload information or read off of slides.

I liked this course and this prof I just have a personal vendetta against group work and 70% of this course is exactly that

Great prof, great lectures, good tests, but group members are selected for you for the group project so you could get bad group members. He provides great in-depth material and notes for studying.

Allows you a cheat sheet for the midterm and an excel sheet for the final which makes it so easy it's basically a write-off. Weekly quizzes are similarly easy, only part where you could do bad is the group project business simulation. Also did a good job of making sure we understood the content and had good examples of everything.

Really good prof. And easy test. The only uncertainties are the group members

Best profs I ever had. metrics can get pretty tough but matthew helps break it down and makes it easy for everyone. I wish he taught more classes. his slides are very helpful and he provides you with notes. his tests and exams are very easy as they come straight out of the notes. only thing is the group assignment which can be hit or miss

One of the best profs. If he taught every single marketing class I would take it. It makes me sad that this is the only marketing class he teaches. FIGHT FOR A SPOT IN THIS CLASS!!!!! He is amazing. Literally spent hours refreshing and waiting for a spot to open up in his class on enrollment day and it was so worth it.

The amazing class with the amazing professor. There is no doubt that to get 5/5 to him. You wouldn't regret taking his class.

As a non-TRSM student, Matthew made the calculation and metric concepts easy to digest and the quizzes helped guide me in what I needed to work on every week. The group project is kind of annoying but overall, this class is manageable and he's very funny and personable.
